A week of outfits #15

Hey world and hello 2020! It’s been a while since I posted one of these – in fact, it’s been a while since I posted at all. I took a big break all through December and January, mostly due to work, sickness, Christmas, vacation, spending time with the family and, again, more work. 😁

Now that Jan’s finally over (took a while, huh?), I thought I’d get back into the swing of things with the last ‘week of outfits’ post. Not latest, but last as I’m kinda closing this series for a while. Instead of a weekly thing, it’s going to be occasional – something I will post now and again, but not regularly. But I’ll still share them daily on Instagram stories, so if you enjoy you can still see them there. 😊

This is not really a week’s worth of outfits, but probably a few weeks. But I don’t think anyone minds – it will be our secret 🤐😁😊

This week, I’m bringing you something different: outfit pictures in which you can actually see my face. Ish. I know, shocking! 😄 “Ish” because I’m still trying to figure out how this is done and the first batch of pictures turned out a bit blurry. Also it’s hard to go from selfies with no face to a full-faced picture, so if I seem a little awkward it’s because – haha – I am. I’m learning as I go, so please don’t judge me too harshly. 😇

I’ve been thinking about my outfits and style a lot. I’m very privileged to work in an environment where we don’t have a strict dress code. As long as you don’t come naked into work, you are free to wear anything you like really. 😄 So most of us dress very casually. Sometimes when I wear something more dressy, I feel like I stand out a lot. Of course, it may all just be in my head, but, surprisingly, I don’t like to draw too much attention to myself. This is why I think my “work outfits” can only be a guide of what to wear if you work in a casual environment like I do. You can dress most of these up by swapping sneakers for boots or heels. However, if you work in finance, for example, you can’t really use any of these, I guess. This is one of the reasons I’ll never work in finance – I put comfort above anything else and, well, I wouldn’t be too comfortable in that environment. 😄

Whoop! New header, how do you like? 😁 Although, this week the number of outfits is a bit limited and that’s because at the time when these pictures were taken I had a teambuilding at the seaside for which pragmatism was more important than style 😄. (It was very cold at the beach and I had to dress in layers). And so for this post I skipped those teambuilding days as I had only one pair of jeans to work with and multiple black tops (T-shirt, long-sleeve, hoodie), so the looks were very very similar. Otherwise, I’m quite proud of a few of these and I can’t wait to hear which one’s your favorite this week. So let’s get to it!

A week of outfits #10

Well, here we are! 10 weeks of outfits – although in reality much more, since I’m sharing more than one week’s worth in these posts for now. Speaking of which, my boyfriend asked me why I shared pictures from the seaside last week. You see, he thought these posts reflect the outfits from the exact previous week. Of course, this is my aim, but since I had a slow start – took the pictures but didn’t post them – I still have about 2 month’s worth to catch up. So the outfits below represent what I wore at the beginning of September. And, my darling boyfriend, since there are 9 pictures, this is what I wore in 2 weeks, not in one week. But I thought we were cool, since I explained it here😄
