A week of outfits #13

20191124_183311_0000Cold weather is officially here and we’re really coming into season appropriate outfits – some of these are really “late autumn” appropriate, while others can do with some adjustments – thick socks, some leggings and warm coats. This week’s post features a lot of stripes and thrifted tops, but also a surprise appearance! Curious yet? Let’s dive in!

A timeless outfit if I ever saw one! This basic black jumper is more than 6 years old and it’s still one of my favorites! It’s still in a good shape, although each year I have to shave off its bobbles. Unfortunately my de-bobbler broke, but another good way to get rid of the lints is to use a good, old-fashioned razor blade.

Speaking of favorite sweaters, apparently this is #1 for me. Doing these posts I realized I’ve been wearing this sweater each week since it got cold. I think both the color and the fit are what draw me so much to it – I’ve been searching for something similar for a while so I won’t re-wear this so often, but no luck so far. The problem is not the repetition, but the many washes it’s going through.

I got this hoodie one from a second hand store a while ago and while the fit is perfect (I’m guessing it’s from the kids section) and the material is so good, it’s not in the best condition, as I assume it’s quite old. I love the trefoil Adidas logo!

Another thrifted top, can you believe it? I absolutely adore the details on this one – not only does it say “love” on the front, I also have some pink hearts on my sleeve. I have no idea where it’s from, as it doesn’t have any labels inside, but I’m guessing H&M? If anyone knows, please tell me. As you can see, I was quite proud of my outfit, as I also took pictures of the details. ๐Ÿ˜

If you’re under the impression that you’ve seen this outfit before it’s because you definitely have! ๐Ÿ˜„ This time I wore it with boots and a long sleeved white ribbed top and had a lovely Saturday with my nieces, mom and sister. ๐Ÿ’•

An outfit that I definitely did not style in any way, but I am quite proud of that day and I wanted to share it with you. All items worn have a pragmatic purpose only, except for the t-shirt which I thought was mandatory – turns out it wasn’t. I wore this for my first 10k race ever – this is me here after I’d finished. It’s the only time in my life when I woke up at 6AM on a Sunday voluntarily to go running.๐Ÿ˜„

This year I made an obsession for wearing white jeans – I could wear them non-stop and with all my sweaters, tops and t-shirts, but unfortunately we’ve gone into rainy weather time and I find it impossible to wear them when it’s wet outside because I splash them on the back when I walk… Does everyone have this problem or is it just that I don’t know how to walk properly? ๐Ÿ˜„

I remember feeling so good wearing this – chic, but also comfortable as hell! I would re-wear this at any time because I love everything that I wore. What more could I say about it?

I feel like I have to mention I’m actuallyย not wearing leggings out in public every time I wear my Zara black skinny jeans. I feel like I’ve worn this before, but it wasn’t at all about the outfit itself, it was actually about the coat I wore over it – that I’ve been wearing non-stop since I got it actually. I love it so much! It keeps me very warm and I feel like it goes with everything!

By far my favorite day in this post, just because it features this adorable furry butt. โค The outfit was good too, but even now looking back at the pictures he’s too delicious to focus on anything else. He was in the mood for love and very flirty. I took at least 20 pictures and here are the best ones:

If you want to see more of him, you can find him on social media – either on Facebook or on Instagram – he’s the adorable Boris the British Shorthair (although his hair is anything but short…)

A rare outfit post in which you can also see my face – I don’t know how it happened, but I managed to do it and not have my body in a weird position while doing it either ๐Ÿ˜„. As you can see, I have a thing for stripes. I felt like a British girl in Paris wearing this, as I have a Breton stripes top and British-style loafers on.

See what I meant with the stripes, haha? I don’t know what it is about them that I love so much, but I’ve always been a fan. Here’s me being gangsta, channeling my inner 90s Pink –ย sansย crop top. I call all my cargo pants looks my gangsta looks, which I guess doesn’t make me gangsta at all, does it? ๐Ÿ˜„

I told you I wear that sweater every week! But what can I say, I know what I like – and it’s everything about this outfit! This day I realized, despite logic and popular opinion, that I look better and taller in pictures when I’m wearing white jeans rather than black jeans. Who would’ve thought?

(H&M sweater, Cheap Monday white culotte jeans – similar here, Topshop Cairo chunky trainers – similar here and here)

This is definitely something that I’ve worn many times before, but now I have new sneakers that I have to wear non-stop, so I just found an excuse to wear it again. Honestly, I’m addicted to those trainers – I wore them so much that they’re no longer that white #whoops. They’re making my 90s kid dreams come true – as my parents didn’t have the money to spoil me with brand shoes when I was a kid, I can’t tell you how happy these make me. I know, they’re just ‘things’, but sometimes ‘things’ can make you happy too because of the connections your brain makes.

And that’s it for this week! Let me know which one was your favorite – although I’m pretty sure everyone will vote for the one featuring my adorable furry-butt sidekick. ๐Ÿ˜Š

If you want to see these as I wear them, be sure to follow me on Instagram where I post them daily on my stories.

Till next week,
