Happy nails

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’ve developed a passion for unique manicures and that I have a nail artist who supports my madness. If you don’t, you can read the story here. Our romance is still ongoing, though I haven’t really had time to post my latest designs because, well, I haven’t really had time to post anything else either. I mostly blame it on binge-watching Twin Peaks, but I also had some personal matters to take care of as well, so I haven’t procrastinated as much as you think.

I think I’m now at my fifth manicure since the last one I posted, but I will walk you only through 4, because my latest manicure is so special that I want to dedicate an entire post to it. You can see all my 4 manicures after the jump!  (click on read more)

1. Pastel colored medley with a dash of mermaid dust

This was my second favorite manicure of the bunch! ❤ After this manicure with the flowers, I felt like I needed something less detailed, less crowded and more minimalist. What I god was more than perfect and even prettier than I had expected! I loved the simplicity of this manicure and the fact that it was delicate, discreet and so delightful!

2. Kawaii clouds

This was one of those ideas that we came up with together – I had no idea what I wanted and as Sascha was working on my nails, a concept was formed that turned out really really cute in the end! 😀 I think she came up with the blue and clouds and I came up with the kawaii faces, which I think make everything adorable – and looking at the picture now, I am pretty much right, haha :D. This was one of my more appreciated manicures.

3. Lilac ombre with gold flakes

This is by far my favorite of these four (you can tell, I have the most pictures of it :D)! Again, it was simple, but super-super cute! I loved the color combinations and the fact that it was such a “clean” manicure. What I mean by clean is that I wore this manicure for like a month and obviously my nails grew during this time, but it wasn’t at all noticeable, which is always a win. I loved this one so much that I’m thinking of wearing it again sometime.

4. Discreet pink vines

This is the manicure I wore at my best friend’s wedding. Because I was a bridesmaid, I wanted something girly and soft and this was the perfect manicure. I loved the details so much and I think they worked perfectly with my dress!

Which one is your favorite of the bunch? Please let me know by commenting below.

Until next time,
